WAS, my knitting project. It is more than 1/2 finished (10hrs PLUS work into it), when I had to stop and put it down and wait for the other 5 skeins to be delivered to the shop. Well, almost a month later, the owner called the manufacturer the other day to find out what has taken so long, and they tell her 'oh yeah, we sent you a letter, that color has been discontinued!'. Fucking brilliant! She cursed the lady out and then told me she would unravel her own project and give me her yarn if she had to. Meanwhile, I stare at my poor poncho every day...incomplete...and longing to be worn before these atlanta 'lows' are of the past. And for the record, Tahki RULES. And that model, is hot. I took my pattern book to a hair colorist and said 'can you make me into HER, please?'. 'yeah you heard me, i want the COMPLEXION AND the hair'. preesh.
p.s. if you aren't knitting with TURBO NEEDLES, you must. It's like the difference between sex with and sex WITHOUT a condom. umkay? umkay...
