I wanted to show off my very first cable knit project. Amazing the difference between 'flash on' and 'flash off'. The color is actually navy blue. Neither of these two images reflect the true color. That's what you get for a $100 dollar digital camera.
Also. Krista. You wanted to see the Manos. And for any others who might be interested in some burgundy colored wool. As you may notice. This color just isn't 'working' with my white ass complexion. Also, of note...this 'skank' is the only one of the bunch I hadn't actually knit up, so the color is most 'vibrant' of the bunch. The color dulls a bit once its been through your hands a time or two. So there you have it. 5 rasberry skanks. I thought there were 7. But I was wrong. Should we just do this EBAY style? Let the bidding begin. I'll start it at $40 dolla for the 'lot'. GO!
